The list of extremely good authors on this page are quite long. Eco is among my personal favourites (even I cannot read his language - have to rely on the translations). George writes a ironic Sci-Fi - quite funny. Gibson is just fantastic! And if you're interested in Danish history Hammerich's works are unavoidable. Both Hansens know (in each their ways) how to tell fascinating and very interesting stories. Robert Harris belongs in the absolute top of my "best authors list".

This page are dominated by Science Fiction writes - Adams we will miss forever - his books are just plain FUNNY in a very intelligent way. Clarke is not as fun, but he has written quite some books as well. Dick is, at his best, excellent. And Brewer very recommendable - "K-pax" is an excellent collection.

No doubt the span of genres on this page is enormous. Neutzsky-Wulff writes fiction as well as computer programming guides. Olesen (who happens to be my old math teacher) writes about his fascination of numbers, and Orwell provides us with horrifying (and deadly relevant) Science Fiction. Michael really have the (Danish) language in his power, and also have good stories to tell.

In this section my favourite author must be Tolkien and his books about Middle-earth and all its quarrels with orcs and evil sorcerers. But also Werber and his ant-universe is a fascinating tale - unfortunately this is the only of his books that I have been able to find in a language that I can read. I understand there should be more ant-books, but only in French. Zamyatin is one of the original Sci-Fi writers, and "We" an excellent (and horrifying) story.

Jensen's own History of Denmark, "Den lange Rejse", is in my opinion simply a masterpiece, but, OK, he is one of Denmark's most valued authors through all times, so, I guess, it ought to be well written. In the completely opposite end of the scale is Johansen's book about her (failed) attempt to climb some mountain. This book is clearly an example on why it is important to find other means of financing ones trips than no-matter-the-story-we-need-a-book. There is not that much story in it, it is not very well written, and it shows very clearly that some people are just not fit for nature experiences!

On these pages especially two authors are my favourites, Reich and Stevenson. Their stories are not very much alike, but their use of the language (Danish and English respectively) makes it very enjoyable to read their (besides, fascinating) novels. Stevenson's Baroque Cycle is an amazing piece.
